CON LAS 5’F DE PORTER
COMO HERRAMIENTA
ESTRATÉGICA
RESUMEN
Para el desarrollo y planicación de una estrategia efectiva, ecaz y capaz de arrojar los resul-
tados deseados, es indispensable que todas las partes que interactúan con la est ructuración
del proceso estratégico estén conscientes de la importancia de las herramienta s disponibles o
que pueden ser diseñadas para llegar a alcanzar una planeación estratégica efectiva.
Con esta investigación no experimental de tipo descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo y diseño
transversal, se da respuesta a la pregunta que busca describir ¿de qué manera el aná lisis
PEST y las 5’F de Porter pueden integrarse para generar una nueva herramienta estratégica?
Para ello, primero se analizan el análisis PEST y las 5’F de Porter. Como segundo punto, a
partir de este análisis previo se presentan her ramientas que pueden facilitar el desarrollo
de dichos análisis y, en tercer lugar, se expone la manera en que el análisis PEST y las 5’F
de Porter se integran para generar una nueva herramienta estratégica.
Al terminar de leer este ar tículo, el lector podrá comprender de mejor manera como el
análisis PEST y las 5’F de Porter pueden integrarse para generar una nueva herramienta
estratégica. También podrá contar con nuevas herramientas que le facilitaran su planeación
estratégica y desarrollo del análisis FODA+1.

Abstract: Developing and planning an effective and efcient strategy capable of producing
the desired results requires that the part ies involved in the strategic process acknowledge
the importance of the tools at their disposal, or th at they design tools to obtain an effective
planned strategy.
This non-experimenta l and descriptive research, under a qualitative focus and transversal
design, seeks to answer the following question: How does the PEST analysis and the 5F’s
from Porter can integrate to generate a new strategic tool? To answer the question; rst,
the PEST analysis and the 5F’s from Porter are assessed. Then, based on the previous
assessment, the tools that can facilitate the development of the analysis are presented.
Lastly, the way in which the PEST analysis and Porter’s 5F’s are integrated to generate a new
strategic tool is presented.
Upon nishing this art icle, the reader will be able to have a better comprehension on how
the PEST analysis and the 5F’s from Porter can integrate to generate a new strategic tool.
Additionally, the reader will count with new tools that will facilitate strategic planning and
the development of the FODA+1 analysis.
